Durulz book

Sorry just a quick question, is this supplement any good?

Its just that it seems worth getting the pdf but the hard copy seems quite pricy and I was wondering if anyone here whose bought either could give me their point of view on it?

I never got it, but the section on them in the MRQII - Races of Glorantha is awesome. I know a couple duck fans who are devoring it.

Only if you really really like durulz or if you have a player who is in love with them and wants to create a durulz character or if you want to set some adventures in durulz lands, like the East Isles.
It includes many subraces (seagull, albatross, flamingo... and a long etc.), mythology, philosophy, professions, cults...

Will this and other RuneQuest 1e books be updated before the license expires? Or should I be snapping up the DPFs before they are gone?

I would be very surprised if Mongoose spent a second updating any RQ books.

The licence has gone, they can only sell their current stock (I assume) so they would not be able to update or reprint these books.

Putting it into Wayfarer, though, is a different matter entirely.

Bought the pdf might shell out for the hardcopy since I got the friend whose running the 3rd age rq to take a look and he thought most of the roleplaying side is fine!

The Ducks book is worth getting just for the platypus, which sadly didn't make it into the Races book.
