Drow War?

So, I've been thinking of picking up Drow War, but I'm a bit leery because some of the elements I've read about would take considerable tweaking to fit in to my setting.

I've been trying to find out more about "Darkest Hour" especially, and the nature of the multiversal-level threat, but can't seem to find anything about it, or anyone who had played it, for that matter.

Anyone wanna spill the beans and consequently sell me on it?

We are about half way through now. It is cetainly to hardest of the 3 books to hold things together but so far it is enjoyable. The biggest issue I'm getting it there is a whole group high level parties all together trying to stop the destruction of the multiverse and it is very hard to give the impression that it is the PCs not doing all the work.

Here are the logs from one of the players.

Very nice, and exensive. I'll read it in detail. Thanx!

But, while i'm doing that, anyone out there want to give me the Cliff's Notes version of what's going on and the nature of the multiversal threat?

Order (the players) vs Chaos.
Chaos has found a way to blow up planes. Destroy enough key planes and the multiverse is destroyed. The players have to find out who is doing it and how and then stop them.

That's pretty much what I got from all of the blurbs and such.

But I'd like to see more details. How the planes are getting destroyed, what the purpose of such is, factions involved, artifacts involved. That sort of thing.

But if someone has issues with spoilers in a public forum, feel free to PM me or something.
