...oh...you guys are talking about graphic NOVELS, I get it now. Never read either of them...never even knew they existed. Any idea who published them?

Both Dredd vs Predator and Incubus where co published by Rebellion and Dark Horse. If you live in the states the Dark Horse version is perhaps the easiest to track down as Rebellion is a British company.

Hope this helps,
Marc

I have Dredd Vs Preditor loved that and Batman Vs. Aliens and Superman Vs. Aliens as well

thanks mate.

it occured to me this morning, that Dredd already did it's own Aliens thing with the Star Born Thing....

did we ever revisit Dredds Baby in a later story or is it still sitting in a plasteel box in the Grand Hall of Justice somewhere.....?

Just recently (Up to 6 months ago...) 2000AD did a sequal of sorts to "The Star Born Thing" where one of the plucky critters jumps on Chief Goodman and makes him do all manner of crazy stuff. Obviously it's set pretty far back in the timeline, but a pretty good read. The art was different and quite likeable...but I don't recall who did it... :D

now that is odd as the Star Born Thing was during McGruder's first period in office.... so that story predates the original - ahhh paradoxical things....

yay! my copy of Dredd Vs Aliens arrived today - damn good read - Flints art is superb - I have to see more of his stuff and the action scenes just go on for pages, the initial contact in the warehouse is great stuff. a real classic story and not just a cross over for the sake of it.

and Judgement Day came with it - not so impressed....

THIS IS GONNA GET SPOILERY

odd really, these are the first 'new' Dredds I've read since shortly after Necropolis finished - Judgement Day is an odd one, the megazine episodes stick out like a sore thumb and it just doesn't feel epic to me - you have the deaths of Dekker, Armour, Sadu, Bruce - all 'names' in the Dredd verse (the others may be as well - but as I said this is 'new') and it should have a feel of something epic - Dekker's death is the only one that stands out, Sadu and Bruce are a bit cliched I suppose and Armour just disappears - I always enjoyed Armour since he first appeared in Atlantis (iirc). it seemed quite hurried....

I guess there are few years gap between the two stories and alot has changed in presentation and style - but it can't just be that, the Apocalypse War is only a couple of episodes longer than Judgement Day, but that has such pace to it..... must be Ennis' writing

one question though - what the hell is with the East Meg judges names?

Well I talk wierd like. Doesnt mean I always type like I speak though like, that would be friggin mental!

I'll post some pix when I get some time.

I'll be trying them out just after Breckie. Still haven't figured who gets to fight 'em...Me or the Roommate...Thanx again for those rules Ned. I'll keep you posted on just how super-killie they are. :D
