I did but it was ages ago using RQ3. I basically kept the conversion simple. There is a set of pages online at http://www.physiol.ox.ac.uk/~sl2/dl/dlmain.html but a few of the links are broken.

I love your take on the Good/Evil conflict. I've had much the same grappling with the "We're EVILLLL!" Black Robes etc.

Just to be clear, those aren't my pages. I found them a while back and bookmarked them.

Man I loved Dragonlance back in the day..... that stable of authors TSR put together was one of the best world building projects in RPG history.

You might have noticed the print of Caramon, Raistlin and the gold dragon in the study....

Soft-rock mullet gaming. It was acceptable in the 80s...

It was a strange thing running DragonLance under RQ. One campaign was pretty straight. The other though, that was the HBO version. Not that HBO existed at the time. Meaningless deaths, betrayals, greed and mania. And that was just the heroes.

The aimed blow to the Draconians' wing was the PC tactic of choice. No armour, few HPs, tend to KO them but didn't kill them so no aggravating explosions or petrification.

I never had a mullet, nor was I inclined towards soft rock.
I did, however, love Dragonlance. I maintain to this day that the 'obscure death rule' was the forerunner of fate points and hero points in modern gaming.
DL1-4 and DL6-9 make a fantastic campaign. DL10 onwards. not so much... :?

Ahh Dragonlance. It was the first real DND campaign I played. Yes, I had a mullet, but no soft rock. It was all about Guns and Roses and Metallica (before they cut their hair and turned lame).
