Used to be a historical miniature gaming club here in St. Louis called 'Big Muddy Historical Miniature Gaming Alliance' (BMHMGA). They put on a couple of really good small con's every year. Don't know what happened to them. I do know there are no local shop selling V@S. Most of the local shops will not allow you to demo a game they don't sell. Hmmmm.
When I play, its usually at a friends house using my ships. Everyone I have introduced likes the rules and have all purchased a set though.
I'd love to come out for Dragon Con, but unfortunately distance and time off work are major factors. And the better half may have an opinion also.

We had a great time turn out was a little low in the mini section but the games had players. My games had a lot of players in the early teens 10 to 14 years old beginning gamers with there dads so it was great. I like to teach young players about the fun of games and the history behind them. Where going to work harder to make next year even better.
