Downloadable HighGuard + Traders&Gunboats Deck Plans

Banded Mongoose
I recall seeing something where the various deck plans from High Guard and Traders&Gunboats would be available in pdf format as a free download for the folks who purchase the books.

Any word on whether that is still happening?

This is just the previews.

I also seem to remember Matt saying that all of the deck plans would be available in High Resolution PDF format so they could be printed out bigger than published, if desired.

I have some 24x36 paper waiting for the PF Sloan and the Sylea when they are available...

I think you will need bigger paper than that. The Dreadnaught is a third of a mile long in scale and almost as wide. It should prove very useful for those squad/ platoon on platoon combat actions. You could fight for days on one of those things.

It must be mine!

I have the original boxed set, sans LBB. I've been wondering if I will ever need to punch the counters.

We will, and we'll revisit the current main book plans already on the site, so they will work at higher resolution - we'll need a bit of time on this, so please be patient, as there are a _lot_ of projects going on in the run up to Christmas.

Perhaps you should print 1:1 scale and submit a LARPs article to S&P...

That is a wonderful video, very fun to watch.

One question I do have, did you just decide that the Azhanti High Lightning class would take a much larger hit then the other ship, or did you actually run the battle in something like CT High Guard or Trillion Credit Squadron, and then put a snippet from it down as a CGI film?

How did I pick the winner? Look at my avatar :)

Seriously, you have to use a lot of artistic licence with this kind of thing. For a start, battles can last hours, and lasers, mesons and PAs are invisible.

So ... you're a TRAITOR!

God, those are some nice looking ships, Andrew. I never liked the look of the fighters until now. And the AHL. Whew! What a great job you did on it!

Need closer views in your video. Don't be afraid to give us different perspectives.

yes, the AHL model is excellent. However....

The kick-ass nasty looking Solomani ship (the CNS Hawkmore) was designed by your local friendly Hiver in collaboratin with the legendary talents of Mr Boulton. I emailed him some drawings (well, pencil roughs) of the design I had in mind and Andrew modelled the ship.

And a very, very fine job he did of it, too.

(Oh yeah: we *might* release the Hawkmore ship design- maybe with deckplans, dunno yet - via Spica Publishing as a non-OTU design.)
