Dismiss Magic question and an animal spirit reference

ADDED: [I just returned from vacation and hadn't caught up on the forum. I didn't notice essentialy this question was just asked yesterday!
I'll leave this up for the link and other questions though.]

In reading the Dimiss Magic divine spell description, it states that you can cast on a specific target or spell. Once a multiple target spell is cast and the effects are in play, can it be used to dispel the effects on multiple targets? Example:

A party of 5 players gets hit by a Fear spell and 3 members do not make their Resilience roll. They run around screaming uncontrollable like small children scrambling for Pinata candy. One of the sucessful resist rolls was made by a divine caster with Dismiss Magic. If said caster targets the spell, will it eliminate the Fear on all 3 members or just one targeted individual? [My initial thoughts is all as it is one spell]

On a completely unrelated note, here is a link some might find useful. A reference to American Indian ideology on animal traits. Accurate or not, it might be useful.

While typing, aother non-specific question came to mind, if an individual is dominately possessed by a spirit, would a Sever Spirit spell "kill" the Possessing spirit or the Host's? (Not that my player's have acess to such a heinous spell)

And thanks to Mongoose for the overall great revamp of a great game system. I'm starting a campaign and taking some hard core DND players into my world. They will not wish to return!
