Dilgar war supplement. Thoughts

so then, a few times Matt has mentioned this, now I have a lot of part edited work with ships and lists from several players. however if matt is going to release one, is their much point me continuing to work on this? It's a smegging big load of work, which could be completely pointless (although it would be cool!). I mean I'm happy to make all the existing work available to people, but if Mongoose intend releasing a Dilgar war book, I don't really want to spend the next couple of months editing and suchlike a possibly defunct book.

I open this to the floor, and will go with the decisions of the players, cos after all, we are cool!! :wink:

Well Matt is aware we are doing it, as he said I could use the pics from the fleet book. I saved the mail somewhere too just in case ;-)
of course that was on the basis that it is not for profit etc etc, which as a fan supplement it most certainly won't be for profit.
That said with the recent crackdown on copyright etc, I dunno if I could still use them?

OT: I like the idea a lot and if you can get info from Matt that they are not doing one in the next couple years then I'd say go for it. Our group is planning on doing a Dilgar War event in the next couple months using the tourney rules (hence why Dilgar were my last B5 purchase before the end).

I personally think they will be very different - although be pleasexd to be corrected and I would be pleasantly suprised if the MGP one has lots of new ships and races?

Alot of my submissions to Hiff Industries (and I believe a few others) were inspired by and reflect LC's novel - which given MGP had to pull the fan ficiton section make this unlikely.

If Matt et al could give us some clues as to the propsed contetns - even if discretly to Hiff it would indeed be worth knowing if we can avoid reivent the wheel.

It's just for our monthly club get-together. Not sure how we were going to do it as David Anla'Shok was the one planning it.
