but that's why you've got the Eurofighter and Tigre - both of which will be more than capable ot taking on a JSF. that said, I don't think aircraft will be that much of an overpowering threat on the battlefield - fighters are pretty expensive, and it's a big chunk of points driving your shatter level down for a unit that is devestating ,but because it carries very limited munitions it suffers form the law of diminishing returns - and if you travel fast enough to avoid AAA fire you're gonna end up flying off the board - at which point you don't even count towards the shatter point until you return to the field - if you return to the field (there's a dice roll to determine if an aircraft that flies off the board can come back at all)
