Folks,

Diecon is this weekend (21,22,23 June). I will be running a 1500 Point Klingon versus Federation game on Sunday at 9am. If anyone on here lives close by come on out. Last year I ran 3 back to back scenarios, and didn't get to play. This year, I decided to get some play in and just run a single game. I made some converts last year (our Yahoo Group jumped from 6 to 13 people right after the Con), hopefully I will add to the list this year.

Another Diecon has gone. Ran a great game of ACTA-SF, well attended by 8 players. Some were returns from last year and some new players. Game was between a heavy Klingon and Federation task forces, each had a DN, and 2 BCH, the federation player had 3 x CA and 1 NCA...the Klingons had 4 D7s. 7 ships per side equal points.

Another game where massive amounts of Photons are fire with minimal hits. Only 1 Federation player rolled any 6's (2 out of 30 fired), and only 2 critical were scored (which is average)and there were only 4 hits. Unfortunately, there were tons of 4's rolled, but at long range these are misses.

This was a Marginal Klingon victory.

I will post photos when I have time. The important thing, was everyone had fun.

Maybe the Feds ought to revisit their strategy. I usually hold my torps for short range/targets of opportunity. But that's just me.
