A GM I know decided to use The Portfolio Events Table to make 2 rolls and they where as follows.
The 1st was A 11 then A 5, which should increased all portfolio items value by +50%, the 2nd was A 3 then another 3, which should have lowered all portfolio items value by -30% but she decided to be merciful and ruled that they cancelled each other out and still increased all portfolio items value by +1D3x5% or by +5%. But what I want to know is did she do the right thing? or was she too merciful?
