(Developer's Diary) Animal Swarms

This was something specifically requested for animals in Dark Conspiracy (along with the likes of alligators and sharks, which are now also in the rulebook).

The objective here was to get swarms of small animals into the game, while keeping the rule count down to an absolute minimum (we really do not need a great deal of detail on a bunch of rats, just how dangerous they are likely to be when the Operatives inevitably trip over them...). So, they get one trait, which needs to be just a line or two (not a paragraph), plus we allow the actual stat block of the swarm to do a lot of the heavy lifting.

This is what we have right now...

Swarm: This ‘animal’ is composed of dozens, hundreds, perhaps thousands of individual creatures. It is immune to all weapons except those with the Blast or Fire trait.
