Demihuman spellcasters

Which Professions are accessible to demihumans (Elves and Dwarves). For example, the Sorcerer is not mentioned to be not accessible to Dwarves, whereas Elementalists are barred. It seems to me that also Sorcerers should be; IIRC Dwarves could not access any spellcasting profession in the old books. Has this restriction been lifted in the new version, or is this errata?

Due to their rarity in Legend, non-human PCs were removed from the new Rulebook and published in the Bestiary (pages 17-19). As far as I am aware, they are the same rules as the old DW books.

In the Classic Dwarves can not be Spell Casters or Psychics, but all Dwarves can create Magical Weapons like a Mystic from level 6, Halflings are restricted to Pseudo-Knights and can not go above 3rd level.

Elves are the Uber-Spell Caster they get All the Mystics Non-Spell or Enchantment abilities regardless of Class and they work better than Mystics, only thing that can Trump them is an Elven Mystic, plus Elves Stealth and Detect as an Assassin regardless of Class.

also under Classic Elves could be of any Profession except Barbarian. but I don't believe all this remains canon under the new rules set, but it is a distinct possibility.

I think it's still the same; definitely no Elf Barbarians... but Elf Assassins are also absent from the Adventuring Professions table on page 17.

Elf was kind of the Munch Race and Assassin was kind of the Munch Profession, put them together and with all certainty you have Munch, just not as bad as you would expect given the Stealth bonus is kind of redundant.

No wonder they are effectively "GM Specials" or PC (with a generous GM) Only options.
