Decados Anikrunta-class Dreadnought listing - Medium lasers

Quick question for clarification. In the rulebook the Decados Dreadnought has 2 medium laser arrays, but the book lists their traits as only Accurate and Burn-out. Is the leaving out of Precise a typo? Can we assume that all weapons of the same name have the same traits and ranges listed on the chart on page 12?

Interesting, it never expicitly states that all weapons of the same type have exactly the same traits.

I'll be interested to know the answer.

Agreed. The following passage coupled with the provided chart implies it, but never comes out and states it.

All weapons mounted on combat vessels can be graded into a set series of designs, as listed here. The number of actual weapons
and which arc they can fire into will depend on the ship they are
mounted upon.

So "all weapons mounted" "can be graded into a set series of designs" and those designs listed in the chart include range and traits. But, it then goes on to state that the arc and AD depend on the ship they're mounted on. To me that says the design includes what's listed in the chart, so all traits and ranges are the same for all weapons of the same type.

However, I'd love to hear an official ruling just to clear up any questions once I field one of those bad boys :)

Yikes! I never noticed that, hope its an over-site due to the texts proximity to the picture. Other wise I have to say, they just don't build dreadnoughts like they use to.

It looks like the piccy has cut off the word precise. All lasers are Precise. I would say this is a typo.

Well, I'm not sure if it was the picture that cut off the word "precise". If that were the case you'd still see a comma after "Burn-Out" indicating there was another word in the series, but there isn't one. And in other entries they expand the entry to a new line if it were to go into the picture's space.

As kaltorak says, the chart on page 12 should give the correct traits - I'm guessing that, unless it's a very shaky mounting, it's the same on the Anikrunta as there.

All lasers should indeed have precise.
