2.0? You mean..the Star Trigger was developed by Microsoft!?!Cyphr said:[Looks over his shoulder and leans in to the poster]
My sources say the SA have remedied the faulty Star Trigger. The real question is there an updated Star Trigger 2.0?

No wonder the Maghiz was caused by an undiscovered bug!
Somebody said:The rumors I heard is that it could have been prevented. But when the Darrian in Charge used his iCommunicator the antenna was partially blocked by his ear and he could not get contact
alex_greene said:No, the real real truth about the Darrians is that they have a Warehouse 13.
And that blew up when they tried to play a Barry Manilow record backwards.
Somebody said:But Vagr fit the DnD orcs nicely
+ Raiders
+ Danger to border regions
+ Rarely if ever abel to overcome the strongholds
+ Uncontrolled/wild fighters

"Orc" seems to have a lot of different meanings in different old langua-Lord High Munchkin said:I believe the original orc (possibly ork), was a Cornish sea monster... and there was only the one.
I really hate such "analogies", since they can destroy the game. People who want elves, dwarfs and orks should play appropriate settings.Somebody said:The connection is actually rather easy to make and hard to ignore
+ They have the looks (Ears, Skin)
+ They have the behaviour (Peaceful Hippies unless attacked)
+ They have this "choosen" element (Settled in a near-perfect startup etc)
+ They fill the last remaining slot (Genoee = Dwarfs, Vagr=Orks)

Darrians aren't elves: they aren't peaceful and constantly fight with Sword Worlds.
Geonee aren't dwarfs: they aren't natural at all. If dwarfs were the Humans genetically changed by the other Humans, they would hate normal Humans.
And, for God's sake, don't mix Vargrs with Orks! They are a major race, and they aren't as simple as Orks. They are Chaotic, right, but they aren't Chaotic Evil, and they can be very proud and honorable.
All sources I have from various Traveller versions do indeed list the VargrSomebody said:Btw: Are the doggies really a major race(developed J-Drive on their own?)
