It's a dynamic character sheet. So it uses more or less of the space on a page, depending on the character that was generated.

ADDED:
Forgot to add Encumbrance on my sheet.

Shawn, I like that character sheet and your idea behind it.

I also like the character's world info and especially the cultural prompts. Was that from a previous version of Traveller to put that on a character sheet or your idea?

Thanks. I got the idea from the Mongoose core rulebook that mentioned a character needing to know his homeworld so he has the right skills to start with before choosing a career. So I coded the homeworld generation part before I started coding the character generation. During that process, I thought it would be cool to add the culture, government, atmosphere, gravity, trade types, etc, onto the character sheet so that a role-player got a better idea of where their character came from, and what kind of person they were at age 18. And I put that homeworld info at the top so the player sees it first and is reminded where they came from during encounters. And you saw in the video how I have the backstory printed on the back of the sheet. There is room on the back still for the player to add stuff to keep a journal. That is the journal side of the sheet, you could say. Important names, items, events can be added. The player can staple another sheet to it if they run out of journal space. I don't remember things for the players, they have to write stuff down (like passwords, or draw maps with street names by hand if their character doesn't have access to a computer to screen print something).

But, anyway. I've never seen it done before on a Traveller character sheet. A lot of players don't even fill in the homeworld space on their sheet. And a lot of Traveller players don't role-play, so that information is not important for anything (except for maybe when visiting another world, and the players are told what kind of world it is, and they don't really care because they just want to land and go on to the next thing). So maybe it is my idea? I'd love for someone to prove me wrong here by showing their character sheet doing this, because I think it's a cool idea.

I think you do have some good ideas there. Although I do put a homeworld and the homeworld UPP on my sheets I dont flesh it out to include cultural effects on the character. That could be very time consuing but good for role playing.

I do like the journal idea for the rear of the sheet and starting it off with the characters' early life. I may adopt something like that on my character sheets. Will have to get some thicker paper though so you cant see the printing through it!

Once you get it sorted you should put a Word copy up on COTI so others can use it.

An update on my Mongoose CharGen. Playing around with characters ages that can influence their death rates. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8yNkAv2hHk

Just have to add the Psion career still.
