Crew and Hull Damage

Do you like the current damage table that always damages both crew and hull equally?

I realized that each point of crew didn't represent just one crew man. While that may be the case, it doesn't seem right to me that every hit that does damage also damages crew in and equal amount. It just makes the crew somewhat redundant to me. I realize there are some differences but they are very minor. I guess I'll just have to play some more and see how it works.

You know, one could use that logic to add recrewing to ISA ships with the Self-Repair. "The best crew and best medical officers" of the ISA allow crew to be returned to active duty during combat. So instead of that who "the crew doesn't respawn" it becomes more "the crew is patched up" and returned to duty.

My best idea for crew regen was "the best crew and the best cloning vats!"

I woud say that for some ships shoud be a Trait like armoured inner parts crew damages are only half. that woud change also a lot of things.
