Cotton Long Range Tender

Da Boss has done some fleet auxilliary stats, don't remember if the EA one was this ship or not, but well worth a look

Hi I have not done the Ccotton - easily done I would guess? - I have made up Fleet Aux for pretty much all the fleets.

The EA ones are :

Whilst the warships of the varied space going races often receive the attention and fame, they would not be able to operate successfully without suitable support ships. This article highlights the many and varied vessels that carry out these tasks for each race. An auxiliary ship is a ship designed to operate in any number of roles supporting combatant ships and other naval operations. Auxiliaries are not usually designed to operate as combatants and although some races build them with more extensive combat capacity, it is usually of a self-defensive nature. However, the composition and size of these auxiliary fleets varies depending on the nature of each navy and its primary mission.

A few vessels designed to support the various fleets…………..

New Trait: Fleet Auxiliary:
In a Campaign, a Fleet containing one or more Fleet Auxiliaries may ignore the 5 RR point premium required for repairing Crippled chips.

Fuji Class Fleet Auxiliary
Skirmish
A derivative of the Olympus Class, the Fuji line of ships are considerably larger but fitted with less armour, as the ship is packed full of repair facilities and trained technicians. A dedicated repair and re-supply ship, designed to provide vital support to fleets operating away from their bases, it proved its worth in the Dilgar war. Lightly armed – they require a substantial fighter escort to ensure that they are able to carry out their duties without interference.
Speed: 4 Turns: 1/45 Hull: 4
Damage: 30 / 10 Crew: 42 /12 Troops: 1
Craft: 3 Aurora Starfury Flights,
Special Rules: Anti-fighter 1, Fleet Auxiliary, Interceptor 1, Lumbering
In Service: 2210
.
Weapon Range Arc AD Special
Plasma Cannon 8 F 2 AP
Plasma Cannon 8 P 4 AP
Plasma Cannon 8 S 4 AP
Plasma Cannon 8 A 2 AP

Each Fuji that takes part in a battle and is still in play at the end of the battle generates 3RR, which can be used for repairs only; any unspent RR following the repair phase is lost.

(also an excuse to have a different ship for the huge old Olympus model )

Kilimanjaro Class Tender Raid
A adaptation of the venerable Fuji Class, the three Kilimanjaro thus built are designed with one purpose in mind – to service and repair the formidable Hunter and Nemesis class warships that Earth Force is building. They have dedicated and above all loyal technicians and scientists who are hope to be able to control, adapt and repair the dangerous technology used in the new creations. Whilst they are not designed to act as warships they have been upgraded with various technology in case their secret is discovered.
Speed: 4 Turns: 1/45 Hull: 4 Damage: 30 / 10
Crew: 42 /12 Troops: 2 Craft: 2 Black Omega Starfury Flights,
Special Rules: Advanced Jump Engine, Anti-fighter 2, Fleet Auxiliary, Interceptors 2, Lumbering , Psychic Crew 4, In Service: 2259+

Weapon Range Arc AD Special
Mulitphased Cutter 12 F 4 Mini-Beam
Medium Pulse Cannon 10 P 10 Twin-Linked
Medium Pulse Cannon 10 S 10 Twin-Linked
Medium Pulse Cannon 10 A 6 Twin-Linked

If an Kilimanjaro takes part in a battle and is still in play at the end of the battle, you may choose one Hunter or Nemesis and immediately apply a refit to that ship.

Cool, thanks for those! Where did you pull the stats for them from? I've never heard of those two ships.

I'm working on a set of campaign rules (that I will hopefully get to play test... unless I can find someone to play test them for me) and 'tender' type ships would serve a major role in the design.
