Corporation - Space?

Hey all,

I'm new to Corporation...and to these forums as well.

I do have all three books for this system, but haven't done much more than skim them yet.

Still, in my skimming, I'm finding very little info about the orbital and space environment/options of Corporation.

I was just wondering if there was more info out there on this subject or if I'm SOL until a supplement comes out?

I realize that I can always homebrew this for my campaigns, but I hate to create my own info and then have a product come out and contradict the work that I've done.

Is it known if there are any plans to explore space, the Venus colony, orbitals, etc. in the near future?

I've also seen a couple of posts on Corporation maps, but have yet to find a map for myself. Any help there?

Thanks everyone!

Chris

Hi there.

IIRC only Vaastag and Miller-Urey are covered in any great detail. Also I think there were some more details about Miller-Urey in one of the S&P articles a couple of issues back.

The rest is left deliberately vague for you to fill in although I expect that there'll be a supplement or S&P article about space habitats and ships. When it does get written, I expect it to cover the basics of how they're built and operated, and to perhaps cover 4-5 core installations.

Venus will probably be covered in the UIG sourcebook, given that the Archons support the UIG.

In the meantime, check out Deniable Resources where one of our members has written a set of spacecraft rules.

Hey thanks!

In my decades of gaming I've done my share of homebrewing worlds.

However, when there is a setting that I really like, I prefer to have "official" material. So far, I'm really enjoying the Corporation setting. I just wish there was a little less vagueness in some areas...such as space and non-Earth colonies.

Really, this isn't a complaint about Corporation, but a compliment. I've enjoyed the vision that has been presented in the published books and I'd love to see that delved into further and expanded.

Has there been any word on the next supplement and when it might be released?

Thanks for the help.

I DID sign up at Deniable Resources as well. I looked through there a bit yesterday. You all have been busy! =)

Thanks again.

Chris
