Copper pieces?

All I've found in the book (2E Conan) is that the standard unit of exchange is the silver piece. All the equipment seems to be priced in silver pieces. And, that, 10 silver pieces equal 1 gold piece.

Yet, the character sheet in the back of the book has a space for both silver pieces and copper pieces.

Where do I find how many copper pieces make up one silver piece?

Where do I find how much these coins weigh?

The CPs on the PC sheet is a typo (a holdover from an other big fantasy game). Just ignore it, and replace it with golden lunas (gl). You are not going to find anything worth less the then a quarter of a silver piece (1/4sp). If you did not know, silver coins can be cut into haves and quarters.

If characters do find coppers coinage, then they would be not of any value to them, as such coins are likely to be highly localized currency they becomes worthless outside it home community, or in the eyes of traveling merchants.

I thought it strange that there were no coppers in this game. I've read several Conan stories where all he had was a few coppers to his name (and silver was highly regarded).

My impression with the Hyborean Age is that coppers and silver is all that most people see.

So...I wonder why copper wasn't included.
