Convention Adventure

I am looking to possibly run Shield Maidens at Ragnarok 5.0 (April 26-27, Kitchener, Ontario) and was wondering if anyone had run any of the adventures in a convention setting? Which adventure lends itself best to the 4 hour window of a convention that also acts as a good introduction to the setting? Something that would be handy in this regard would be some pre-made characters! Anything like that exist?

Hey Erik!

I don't think we have anything formal for conventions (good idea, though!)

As for adventures, the Banished *might* work within that timeframe (introduces Fenrir, Resistance and Jotunn, whilst taking the Shield Maidens outside fo the city). You can cut some of the encounters along the route to cut down time, too.

I just got the Tales of Yggdrasil book so I will poke through and see what might work then with an eye at the Banished. Some pre-made characters would be a huge plus for getting people quickly into the game - a download for the Mongoose site perhaps?
