Conflicts among Rulebooks

Recently two things came up at our ACTA gaming sessions.

1. All Stop: One version states that a vessel may make no turns while using All Stop. Another one does not include the above provision. Which is correct?

2. Hyperspace: One version states that a vessel entering hyperspace counts as performing a tactical withdrawal and may not return, whereas the other version has no such provision.

In both instances here, the first case of each rule comes from the Revised Edition, so I'm obviously inclined to think that is right. I just wanted to confirm with the broader crowd.

Armageddon overrules SFOS overrules Revised Ed overrules Original Rulebook.

And posts by Matthew Sprange on the forum overrule the lot (there were a couple of errors in Armageddon that were corrected on here)

Indeed, the basic rule of newest bnook overrules all preceeding books.

The exception to this being the Starter set, you only use those rules if you don't have the main set. (1" beteween turns, I think not)
