Conan rpg d20 & Softwares

I really like to create NPCs with good backgrounds but, quite often, I have no time to waste in calculating their boring long statistics blocks.
I've heard about 2 main softwares for creating npcs (HeroLab and Pcgen) but I'm not sure whether they can be useful for Conan Rpg.
Do you have any comment on the use of such softwares or do you have any suggestion for other programs?

Well, once upon a time, I saw someone on the boards here put up a spreadsheet for use in Microsoft office. That might work for you.

I created a character spreadsheet a while back that I would be happy to email to you if you like. There have also been at least two other spreadsheets created by others, one of which can I believe be downloaded from the unclebear.com website.
