Mongoose
Anyone else think this is a workable concept? I'm thinking that maybe the Hyborian Age could do with a Pathfinder-compatible makeover - strictly speaking, the nature of Hyboria puts it outside of Paizo's standard compatibility license agreement (as they like to keep things PG-13), but given that Mongoose is a name with a certain amount of weight behind it, to say nothing of Conan, I suspect that the higher-ups might be willing to at least discuss making an exception to the rule.
If that gets off the ground, then perhaps a Kickstarter campaign could be in order. To the best of my knowledge Conan's never had a super-snazzy deluxe full-color hardcover, which seems like a damn shame. A PDF version for the lower pledge levels would be a very good thing to have too, of course. Stretch goals could include the standbys (more pages, more art, maybe a pay bump in there somewhere), and at the higher levels a commitment to continue supporting the line through similar campaigns. After all, if those goals are reached it'd be a fairly safe bet that future products for the line would sell well, and how cool would a full-color, art-heavy, PF-compatible hardback edition of Hyboria's Fiercest be?
Add-ons could likewise include the standards like maps, GM screens, PDF adventure supplements... dice maybe? (I must confess, I'm a bit of a dice junkie myself.)
I'm sure we've all seen just what a well-managed KS campaign with a proven name behind it can accomplish (for those who haven't, see Numenera, Deep Magic and Exalted, to name a few), and I can't help but feel there's a market for this. Agree/disagree? Let's hear it.
