Component Prices

The prices listed for components for "stuff" (ship components, vehicle components, robotic components, etc.) Is this the purchase price for the item without installation or is it the price for the item and installation? The Robot Handbook has a +10% fee to have it installed. Is there something similar for Vehicles and ships?

For spacecraft, it's hard to say.

For most commercial spacecraft, you could take it at face value.

Markups may occur, depending on which side of the bed the Dungeon Master got out of that morning.

If it's at time of construction, I assume that installation is included. Upgrades or replacements have an installation fee.

I'd say, if it is a "bespoke" build, then installation is included in price. If it is an "off-the-shelf" purchase or a "turnkey" solution, then installation fee may be a separate item, allowing the customer to fit it themselves, if they have the requisite skill (and tools).

Okay, so just assume a 10% or whatever install fee or just apply the spaceship refit rules to everything that doesn't have a specifically listed install fee, like robotic components. Thanks!
