Comparing PL to points

No this likely isn't going where you think it is.

It seems that a 100 point frigate in ACTA:NA represents about the same as a Skirmish ship in ACTA:B5

(I'm not saying they'd be an even match I mean in fleet terms.

So, extrapolating this:

Patrol=Explorer/Raider??
Skirmish=Frigate
Raid=Destroyer/Light Carrier???
Battle=Cruiser/Larger carriers??
War=Dreadnought???

So what would be Armageddon, or does NA not go that high? It would likely be in excess of 1000 points anyway...

Just a thought, I'm sure whatever ship would be equivalent to Armageddon, Kat would want one in her fleet :lol:

Armageddon would be the fabled giga-dreadnought. War would be the standard super dreadnought, as a dreadnought is one and a half battle.

dunno, i would be LBH as correct with dreadnought being War level as yes it might only be 50% more than a cruiser but when using PLs what war level ship was worth 2 battle (unless you talk bintak compared to g'quans).

i woulld say 1000pts is our old 5pt raid size game, 2000pts is 5pt battle and 3000pts it 5pt war.
