Are these worth buying?

I know there's a new Vehicles Supplement but i was wondering if they were worth picking up.

And if not why not?

Are these worth buying?

If you mean the first edition of the vehicle supplement(s) published
as two separate booklets, my answer would be a clear "no, never".
In my view the system used is badly broken and delivers implausi-
ble results. The new vehicle supplement also has minor problems,
but in my view it is light years better than the original fumbled at-
tempt.

Yep, very much my take on Mongoose's second try at a vechicle design system.

I like that the new edition streamlines the design rules. And one can refer back to the Core Rulebook if something doesn't make precise sense.
