Chinese anti-satalite missile

Welcome Wildger. If you take the time to, you can find, within these pages, pictures of future technology, along with the disucssion of the technology. This is a place to show stuff that the game is capable of showing off. Notice the lack of ships.

And any sensible person isn't interested in Chinese politics. If I wanted that, I'll just pester my chinese friends on a different forum (Not sinodefence).

I could actually see this being game related.

The USMC has the rule allowing them to re-roll for deployment...etc due to the Landwarrior setup and superior intel technology. So, if the PLA purchased one of these missiles it could nulify that advantage.

Given the purvasiveness of some things, Shmitty, this weapon's pretty much a one trick pony. You light up one of those satillites, the facility that launched it and everthing within a mile of it's pretty much... well... toast.

Show me where. None in these pages are compatible to other forums for military defense and most of the people in this forum are not knowledgable about defense technology anyway. Having a BF scenario to destroy a missile site has little to do wheather Chinese has the technology to destroy an enemy satellite or not. Yes, the game has potential but you imagination is far much greater.

*sighs*

The game represents Ground combat and Immediate Air combat.

Maybe I should make myself clearer:

The GAME can't do large things like ships, nor things that require set up that can't be represented in the time the game turns represent.

And we have people on this forum that actively interact with defense technology, or are currently active in the defense industry. And I HAVE been to the SinoDefense forum. I'd rather go to Militaryphotos.net.

Also, discussion on here, is in a GAMING aspect. Like what rulse would LRAD would have....

Besides, these pages AREN'T compatible to other forums on the internet. Otherwise, I'd be able to check the TMP forums for other posts.

Lets face it we are geeks, and like new toys.

This is a new toy, that is close to being real. It may already be 100%.

If I am writing a mission I like it to have a background in quasi real hooks.

So the players undersatnd why the mission is being done, and what it means to thier countries.

Once in the building, find the computer servers, they are located here or here.

Download all the information on the Missle System and Tracking Software, this missle is dangerous to us as it can knock out our birds when we need them most.

We need as much info on how thier system works, so we can be sure to have counter measures in place.

Find and destroy and backup systems, that are off line, after aquiring the files, upload the virus to the systems, insure the data is being sent to the off site locations, then make your way to one of the retrival locations, after the data has been retrived, continue to team retrival point, if at any time after data has been delivered team is in danger of capture, destroy data with thermite charge.

I like my players to know why they are there, data like this helps me.

The game is good, but add good solid missions, and it will be great.

accident do happen though ;)

What you mean, like when the US accidentally cruise missiled the Chinese Embassy. In a different COUNTRY to the intended target....
Or the bombing of a british regiment... (I'll stop at that)

Just like how the manned mission to Mars in '16 has excited me (maybe it also helps that I helped in providing data on preferred veg' to be sent with the astronauts)

Larac, I can hear the Mission Impossible music playing in the background. Seriously, nice idea for a "raid" type scenario (smaller force has to destroy something at a location and get off the table) which would work well with Marine Force Recon minis in a Taiwan campaign.

Thanks

I just think that a good set of missions with a twist every 3-6th will make the game so much fun.

The twist is what I am thinking on atm, in non-umpired games.
