Charisma

Charisma is the only stat that doesnt have anything tied to it, except as a foundation for a few stats.

Suggestions to make it more mechanically significant ? Maybe just follow RQ2 and use it to gain a discount on learning skills and spells ?

How did that work in RQ2? (My book is buried somewhere in the garage).

It would be nice to get a little more use out of CHA...

basically at certain levels (I want to say 13 and 15 but I could be remembering it wrong) you received a 5 or 10% discount on the price you pay for learning spells, and receiving training.

Could easily make it more incremental too, though.

The Glamour spell has been cut down as well, as it's use as a disguise spell has been dropped. In the old days if you changed you're APP by more than 50% you were unrecognizable, so for a character with 8 APP, only 3 points of Glamour were required for a great instant disguise. Very handy, but hardly an incentive to have a high APP, or CHA.

Starting mney also used to be tied to CHA in the form or a loan that could be spent for training or magic. Something like CHAx100 Lunars, but that was with RQ2 prices. THat would have been enough to decently outfit a character and even buy a point of a spell. For MRQ maybe CHAx250 SP might give the same purchasing power. l
