We've all got stories about terrible terrible gaming groups and sessions. We could do a whole new topic on it!
My favorite was when my ex (though not at the time) threw a literal screaming fit at me and the rest of my staff during a LARP I was running. She wasn't getting her way, someone was actually opposing her and she literally started screaming, first at him and then at me and the rest of my staff because we were persecuting her. Needless to say she was politely asked never to return.
So, short answer is I feel for all of you. SQ, sounds like you might want to consider finding a better group. Tell 'em that you're running what you want to run. If they want to run Cthulhu, you'd happily play and then find yourself a real B5 group to game with. Just don't let them bully you into running something you don't want to run. That's a fast way to burn out, disinterested players and unhappy GMs.
