Chaos assembly - help

I need help assembling the chaos unit. Since there is no guide, I can't even be sure I have all the pieces. From the box art, it looks like there is a triangular pelvis I don't have.

What I have - two legs and arms - obvious. A back body with two holes, and two pieces with matching stubs - are these two different options for the front torso? One matches the box art, the other doesn't. A y shaped gun thing. A 1 inch thing with two equipment "pods" connected by a sprue. A 1.5 inch thing, also with two equipment pods and a sprue. These last one has the thing resting on the right shoulder, according to the box art.

Go over to the Downloads section over on the main sight, and under the Starship Troopers section is the CHAS directions.

There are two different options, one with the chest weapons out, the other with the chest compartment closed.
There is a weapon/ targeter for the right shoulder, and the same weapon/targeter can be attached to the back, ( In the show, it popped out of CHAS's shoulder.

The top torso is in a front piece, and a back piece. the backpack goes into the two holes, the two parts go together and make sure that the head and pelvis pegs are inside the model with both parts together.
( DONT ATTACH BOTH FRONT AND BACK BEFORE YOU INSET THE HEAD AND LEGS.)
I did it, it wasn't pretty...

Thanks, and oops - double egg on my face for the typo and for not even checking the downloads. I figured out most of it on my own anyway, but not after having to pry open the chest because I glued it without the pelvis and neck!

Even though I assembled mine right, I never gave much thought though if I hadn't as those Bots like to self-destruct and ruin themselves anyway  . Glad to have you here, dcgreenwood and "drop" in anytime. :D

Just a tip....... Araldite or similar works great on the CHAS, as superglue etc... doesn't fill the chest cavity enough for a good contact. If you don't have it, use modelling putty to fill it out, press the parts in then remove, leave it to set then glue it together.
I pinned the rest together as normal, but with a good contact in the chest those parts were really solid.

One thing that's fun to do with the CHAS is to make it poseable - by drilling a hole through the elbow (stopping sort of coming out the other side) and corresponding piece on the lower arm, then pinning it in place, but only glueing the pin on the inside of the elbow you have poseable arms! If you don't glue the legs into the torso they'll swivel cleanly but there's enough overhang from the torso pieces to stop it falling apart.

I'm planning the construction of my second CHAS at the moment - I intend to make the chest doors open and weapons pod deploy using magnets.
