'Horde' has a built-in mechanism for doing exactly that!

Wonder if Mongoose could get the rights to reprint and expand the Chamax adventures? Could have an entire subsector infested with the things! :twisted:

There's always the ever popular after the last extermination where every Chamax was destroyed, ruthless government agents capture a few egg masses to be taken to a secluded place to determine their weapon potential. Of course they know everything and nothing can go... wrong.

A number of Chamax in unusual storage containers with signal dampers built in. What are they, why these boxes, where are they from and who did this?

And perhaps the official story of what happened at Death Station of mad crew members was not the truth but a cover story designed to avoid panicking neighbouring worlds. In fact they had been experimenting on the Chamax when there was an outbreak. Some of the scientists risked escaping in a shuttle whilst not checking their cargo bay. They crash landed on a nearby high population planet that has since gone very quiet and several Scouts sent to investigate have disappeared without a trace ....
