Just arrived, this will help to flesh out the world and add some colour to the game. Thumbs up from me.

I do like the big hammer in the Engineer's Toolkit :D

I logged into my account and saw that the CSC 2023 update got a new PDF on March 2023. The last version I downloaded was from January 2023.

What was updated in the PDF?

When these PDFs get updated, can we get release notes?

From drivethrurpg, in the USA, I downloaded a version of the Central Supply Catalogue 2023 in June 2024 and another version in September 2024. The later version appears not to have the claw glove weapon included. Was this change an intentional removal of that item from the game or an unintentional change?

In the earlier version, the item appears on pages 138-139. Another change between these documents is the later version drops the tables of equipment that list these and other weapons/items.

Thank you

Were the Cartridge Lasers and Splinter Pistol/Rifle included in the 2023 CSC update? They were in the 1E CSC but not the first 2E one.

Silly question, but is this Mass (in kilograms) correct?
This is from Central Supply Catalogue Update 2023, page 165

UPDATED: Saw that Range is in Kilometers.
Trying to figure out:
1) Is the Heavy Gun a rough equivalent to a 105mm Howitzer?
2) How does a 7kg Mass Driver has a 40km Range?

It's supposed to be Km for range (okay technically, it doesn't say that until page 167's table, but...) and tons for mass (this is fixed on page 165). It's fixed in the latest pdfs and in the printed versions.

My margin notes for howitzers and and field guns for the upcoming Vehicle Handbook update have light/medium/heavy field guns and howitzers as 105/155/205mm, respectively, but that's rough comparisons to keep me in line.

Its all very confusing - we have on page 165 a "Heavy Gun" that does 1DD damage and weighs 12 tonnes. But the "Heavy Cannon" on page 167 does 2DD damage and only weighs 4 tonnes. But the former has an AP value, whereas the latter has none, despite being meant for mounting on AFVs to fight other AFVs.
The Support Mortar on page 165 only has a 3km despite being a 120mm weapon according to the text, with most modern 120mm mortars having a range of 7km or more.

I had to update my pdfs. Thanks

Are you also including the weapons from the Field Catalogue in the new Handbook?

The groundscale weapons seem to self obsolete themselves.

One issue might be that it's actually a little hard to imagine what artillery pieces would be considered feasible by technological level twelve, considering that improvised mortar variants have popped up in the Middle East, and barrel bombs have been pushed out the back of helicopters and cargo planes.

Personally, I think sandcasters are the future of mortars.

Well, really heavy mortars.
