Burger said:I think the logic behind CAF is that you are dedicating all of the ship's tracking and targetting computers to locking onto just the one target, instead of multiple. Therefore you have more processing power to keep the beam aimed at the target as it tries to move out of the way.
With e-mines, you just fire and off they go, it doesn't matter how many computers you dedicate to maintaining the target lock, once they are fired it is too late.
