I have a couple of questions:
1-I read somewere that you get a penalty for casting in armor. Cant seem to find it. Am i right?.

2-Can i buy sorcery spells as advanced skills in generation?. O runecasting spells with starting money?.

3-does the Enc of weapon and shield count for dex based penaltys?

4-can i use a ruen if i have both hand occupied?,lets say with a shield and sword.

I don't recall a specific penalty for casting in armour, per se, but it is possible that Encumberance penalties will affect casting, and unenchanted Iron also acts to disrupt magic.

This is really a question for the individual GM rather than a rules question

I can't see any reason why they wouldn't.

The Rules suggest you need to hold/manipualte the specific runes required in order to cast a spell - just having them in your possession (say in a pouch around your neck, or mounted in rings) is not sufficient. Earlier editions of RQ, which did not use this sort of "Rune Magic" had trhe concept of spell foci, which were used to cast spells. These would typically be runes carved on stones or wands, but for some spells they would be better placed on other arefacts - so a sword might have a bladeharp or firelblade focus on the hilt, a shield might have a protection focus on the inside and so on, so it might not be unreasonable to make a houserule to allow players to do this sort of thing - just remember that if they can do it, so can their foes (and vice versa, obviously!)

The casting penalty is the same as the penalty to any other skill.

The Spellbook has some professions that begin with sorcery.

If you are using just the main book, ask the GM what he thinks, or just let professions that can start with a rune exchange those for a sorcery spell instead.

For "generic" runequest, I keep Sorcery as a "acquire in game" thing
