Can anybody direct me to S&P 45 Wargamer?

It'll most likely be http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/miniature/detail.php?qsID=1468 when it comes up. ;)

only yesterday, we were commenting how good mongoose were at getting S+P up on time, and boom! they dispel the myth!

Hopefully they are making sure the new ships are nice and balanced :)

I hope so. Can't wait to see the stats for the abbai dreadnought. I wonder if it will get the award for the most quad array/intercepter dice ever on one ship.

Is it just me, or can´t you download the issue yet? There´s only the "add to cart" button, no download!?

EDIT: Horray, it´s up! Nearly 10 mb of coolness, nice! :D

Yeah, it´s nice, but these other ships are interesting as well, at least after a first look. Ok, that´ll be one dreadnought for my Brakiri, one for my Abbai, and a pair of gunships for my pak´ma´ra - it´s going to be a costly month...

Good thing I'm not playing league(yet anyway)

Despite 5 fleets I managed to dodge this month. Yey!

i havent got any LONAW minis yet but im going to build a fleet. i've been thinking about it for a while now and the last few designs have made me decided to finally start one off. I think i'll go for a brakari/vree/abbai combined fleet.

Alright. I may have to concede any attempt to get the Service Dates noticed and used. If the Juyaca was built specifically to address the Drakh AFTER the virus bombing of Earth, who was it that gave them the time travel resources to build it in 2235?

I like the look of the Hurr Gunship at first glance.

So... umm... what do you guys think of the scenarios?

I like "Mine!" It's a genuinely new scenario to regear how you think about a fleet!

The original fluff for the the Juyaca in SFoS said that the ship was brought into active service after the holy war decision. The ship was originally designed and constructed after the Dilgar War, using some reverse engineered Dilgar weapons technology (see Quad Bolters), as the Abbai's first actual warship for use in case of another war against the Abbai which could not be stopped using the conventional fleet. The Drakh offended the Abbai's value of life so much that they were willing to bring the ship into active duty and at the core of the Drakh hunting efforts. This time between construction and common use is most likely the reason for the ISD being so early...or else it's just a typo. I personally prefer the SFoS fluff to th new explanation of the Juyaca's existance. Either way, it's good to finally have it officially. Fear the pacifists with massive firepower.

Excellent! Thanks for digging up the original fluff on this!

Whoa, all I have to say is, that Mongoose still really needs a more dedicated editing staff. I know most of the stuff in S&Ps are fan-submitted, but when my eyes are crossing 3 paragraphs into an article there might be a bit of an oversight problem.
