ok, well, as some of you may remember, I planned running a campaign day last summer at ID, alas the whop closed, ACA slipped well off my radar and it didn't run.

Now I mentioned I would be happy to run an event in a hired room in the manchester area... of course this is dependant upon me finding a room at a reasonable price. However I could make it the Earth Civil War campaign (with amendments to canon) over 2 days. This of course doubles the cost of the room. . but makes for something more interesting perhaps than a standard tourney yes? soo.... who would come, and how much do you think you would be willing to pay (for room and goodies). I promise the only profit I make will be for a double whisky when you all leave me shattered on my doorstep!

probably run in June/July. I'll get a list of local places offering sleepy beds, "maybe" can cut a deal if enough people interested in sleeping somewhere.

I would be interesting - sounds fun - although obviously dependant on work dates..........

I do like the idea of a campaign :)

happy to pay as required (presuming it does not reach into tripple figures)

Maybe is my answer. If I'm free I'd be up for it but as it's not in holiday time the odds of me spending the whole weekend there are lower than if it's a single day. That's not to say it's not a good idea, I'm just being honest!

well, if "holiday time" is easier for people, then i'm fine to move it anyway, I'll run it whenever i get enough interest!
looking at halls, none of them are going to be in country manor i'm afraid, but I'll try not to get you into deepest darkest salford where you will never see your car, wallet, phone, loved ones ever again!

Can't speak for the remainder of "Greg's Crew" - except Da Boss, who has already replied - but I would be up for a two day event, but would happily settle for the one :D

Would be up for that Hiffano. Be it a 1 day or 2 dayer.

Looks like 3 of "Greg's Crew" are on the yes list.

I'm up for it too! I should have won the last one I went to but the organiser somehow magically one himself...hmmm

Just speaking for me but if it's during the summer hols then I'd be much more likely to make it! Especially if it's a two day event.

Yes Ken, we all know how you were robbed...again...maybe if you invested in a burglar alarm these things wouldn't happen 8)

Except you were beatin in several games, including against me.

Q-Con (Queen's University, Belfast) is the last weekend of June. You should all come here and have a campaign. :)

Accommodation is ~£15 a night and we will provide space, tables and some prizes.

Think about it. ;)

Q-Con is a great weekend, if something were organized then I'd definitely be up for it!

Amazingly cheap, too. The flight costs approx £20 inc taxes, if you don't bother taking any hold luggage. Bus to the town is a couple of quid. Accommodation is £30 for 2 nights, of course it is a bit basic but what more do you need?! The student bar is cheap and pretty good. You get pretty much 3 full days, due to the flight times, so you can explore the entire convention if you like or do other things - we hired a car and went to Giant's causeway last year. All in all, it is cheaper than going to most events on the mainland, and Belfast is a great city! In fact petrol to the airport will probably cost more than the entire rest of the trip put together!!!

If you guys are interested then I would be happy to set aside space in the war games room on the Saturday and Sunday.

Though I would need to know reasonably soon as Games Workshop are looking to expand their presence this year to 30 tables on Sat/Sun, and there's only so much space.

Registration should open at the start of February. The weekend price will probably be £10.

I know I've not given full on dates or anything, but anyone else vaguely interested, as it stands, got about 8 players, so not really viable.

I can't really make any tourney down south as I will be looking after my soon to be Daughter at weekends, but for something local i can get a baby sitter
