Buying Tripwire

By looking at the Esdevium games schedules , I found these dates:-

10th August
Scoundrel £15

17th August
Tripwire £15
Golden Age of Star Ships 1-5 £20

I'm currently running a Traveller game with Project Steel. I'm looking forward to buying and reading Tripwire (I'll buy the other books as well but Tripwire is key for me).

Does a date of 17th August mean "shipped on 17th August" or "for sale on 17th August"?

I'm assuming you're talking about the dowenloadable pdf of releases from the Esdevium website.

If you look at the top where the date is given it actually says "Week beginning....", so Tripwire and Golden Age 1-5 will be available to order by game stores such that they will be delivered during said week beginning the date shown.

In my experience of ordering through FLGS the Esdevium order usually comes in on the Thursday of the week, ocassionally the Friday, so the stuff on the Esdevium list for week beginning 17th August should be received by your FLGS (If they ordered it straight away) on Thu 20th or Fri 21st.

I fully expect my FLGS to have Tripwire and Golden Age 1-5 waiting for me when I go and beat their doors down at 1000 this morning.

Any good? I want to see what they have on Jewell Subsector, since in the campaigns I've run, Jewell has always been my favourite Spinward Marches subsector. Esalin in particular, because I've always run that world like Switzerland, all the Cold War meetings between East and West, spy prisoner exchanges ... oh, and plenty of Esalin bank accounts, where anonymity and tax-free status are assured ...

Just sped read through it, it seems well written and it has a good plot the Jewel sector is nicely fleshed out .. without adding spoliers to the post, I think you will like it ...
