Buying HG?

Right, I want to buy High Guard. My FLGS has gotten a few copies but these are the fabled second printings (or first I dont know exactly which) and I would much rather prefer a errata-free (or at least a low-errata) edition. Say, the more fabled third printing? Now, if I order from Mongoose directly, which printing do I recieve?

I figure once HG gets off the pre-order list on the mongoose website, will be the moment that the 3rd printing will be out.

The HG book is listed as "add to cart", not "pre-order". I hope this means it's a third printing (revised?), but I hesitate to speculate and hope for a more... definite answer.

Its probably the 2nd printing, is that with US currency? ... It was pre-order yesterday.

Let us know if you get the corrected printing. I'm holding off on buying the book until I'm sure the corrected version is out, there may be others like me that would appreciate the heads-up.

I've got some mild regrets on getting the 1st printing of the TMB now that a better version is out, since I haven't actually used it to run a game yet (obsolete before the first game!). I don't want to repeat the mistake.

I'm excited about Mongoose's venture into Traveller/Sci-fi, but I'm not going to pre-order Mongoose books anymore. Since I'm not in a hurry anyway, (running something else now), I'm going to wait and make sure any problems are sorted out before ordering anything.

If it has the TOC from Mercenary it's the 2nd printing, if it has almost no TOC it's the first printing.

I made a trip to the FLGS today and found that they copies of HG had been taken off the shelf - the owner had apparently flipped through the book and decided he couldnt sell it with good conscience.
So I am left with the one for sale at the mongoose webshop. I would guess it's the thrid printing, since it makes little sense to keep selling copies people are goign to demand replacement copies for anyhow.
