Brit-Cit Justice Department Question

Do Brit-Cit judges follow the same rules as Megacity One Judges with regards to being prohibited from buying extra equipment, being forced to attempt to arrest enemy minions and being able to take Judge talents? I'm assuming so, but it doesn't seem to say it anywhere in their rules...

Yes on all counts.

The arrest rules apply to all judges, regardless of city of origin. That's why the East Meg judges have a special rule specifically to make them exempt from having to arrest targets.

Judges are not prohibited from buying extra equipment, it's just that they simply don't have the option. No model can buy any equipment if they don't have the option in their force list.

Judge talents can be taken by any judge hero, again regardless of city of origin.

So, with that clarification, and the new clarification on cyberware being purchasable by any model to repair an injury, is the "Standard Issue" rule going away from the Justice Department? Seems redundant, now.

To be honest, I never saw the point of the Standard Issue rule. It always seemed redundant to me, given the way equipment allocation works.

No, it prohibits judges from buying any other equipment. Exception being cybernetics.

That's what I thought, too. Which is why I questioned it's inclusion a few iterations of the rules ago.

Yeah, that was my confusion as well... I couldn't really see what the point in the Standard Issue rule was unless I'd misread the rules, so I was just trying to clarify :)
