So will this be a stand alone game or will you need to main books to run it? I will buy it merely because it is Slaine! I know what you mean Garet about some strictly D&D players when you try to introduce them into Slaine. They look at ya like you have 3 heads.

I noticed that as well, Time Killer and Slaine: The King get reprinted all the time. Apparently there is now soft cover releases coming. I already have them in the large black hardcover versions so no point in buying them again. The Invasions are really want to get in soft cover though. Any other news on the RQ version of Slaine?

whent to slaine and really pumped up about the slaine book as it is going to be beautiful with bisley art and also pre speech so a great improvemet on the last edition.most stuff seems to fit runequest well and warp spasm is going to become a legendary ability.also will need to convert rune quest main rule book and the monsters book(as normal animals will not be stated in slaine core book)

Clint Langley's art, not (the admittedly VERY nice) Bisley stuff...

Had a small talk about Slaine in the office and I am looking to add a bit more than was the original plan, which is additional work, but since it is Slaine it is all good!

Will be doing some serious playtesting at the weekend over some of the changes to see what needs to be tweaked with some of the local lads, so it is going to be a busy weekend (what with finishing the Lhankmar scenario I am writing for May's S&P as well).
