Breaching pods in dogfights

Do these fellows die automatically in a dogfight?

Yes - though they do tie up enemy fighters for a turn, so it's not in vain.

How about 'can they support dogfights?'

A Breaching Pod automatiacally loses a dog fight.
A Flight cannot support and dog fight on the same turn.
Any flight can support a dog fight.

Ergo a Breaching Pod can support a starfury in a dog fight and give it +1 to its dogfight score. Just doesn't seem quite right for a lumbering, unarmed shuttlecraft.
