I have the original GW WFRP hardcover, and have used it for years. It has moved across the Atlantic Ocean with me twice, withstood the east coast humidity, suffered through the cold, dry Swedish winters, and is still holding up great!
My old 2e D&D PHB (black cover) endured four years of riding in my backpack daily, being tossed across tables, spilled soda, tobacco spit (Yay West Virginia :roll: ), blood, and even being used as an improvised weapon. After three years of such abuse, I had to duct tape the spine, but even so, it's still together. It's still the pinnacle of RPG binding to me.
