Mongoose
Hey you guys!

When I read the second of the new Lone Wolf books I was a little disappointed that, after the brilliant first book, the only new stuff it contained was a rather boring bonus adventure. But already with the next book I began to like these little adventures...

So what of the already released bonus adventures to you think is the best?
I really love the one in Kingdoms of Terror, where you play as Gwynian - it's a cool feeling to get the chance to play a totally different charakter as Lone Wolf: he is old, no warrior and instead of having to fight he is mired in political intrigues. And the story was briiliant, although solving the quest seemed rather random: First time I was already absolutely screwed up at Simyn's house, second time I made it without any serious scratch.

I also liked the Loi Kymar Adventure of Caverns of Kalte a lot! These adventures are often a great possibility to get a deeper unterstanding of the story - much was clearer to my imagination afterwards!

So keep on producing some nice and not too short bonus adventures, Mongoose ;-)

All the best
Robin

We have one similar poll over at TotS, but we have limited the choices to the mini-adventures of the Kai series. When all the Magnakai books will be out, we will make another poll for them.

So, I have based my answer only on the first 4 mini-adventures (I didn't read yet the last two anyway) and my vote went to the one in book 4 where you play as D'Val. I really loved the fact that you get the see the other side of the coin, that you get to live LW adventure from another point of view. I was a little bit disappointed that you didn't have to even fight in the last battle before LW leaves Ruanon for Maaken (somehow, I've made it throught that battle without a fight, but maybe that's because my choices made me avoid them?). However, it was a cool adventure.

Mini-Adventure N°6 is the best!
This mini-adventure of Gwynian is according to me the most interesting and the most complex of all those already published. It reveals all the political plots and secret powers involved with the quest of the Lorestone of Varetta. We learn more about the powers of Gwynian, about the causes of the dissension between the Sages of Lyris, about the links of Roark with some of the opponents to Gwynian, the true nature of Cyrillus and of Gwynian's organisation (based on the John Grant's the Lorestone of Varetta)... And the scenario is very rich and complex, with trahison and suspense
:D
