Beyond the Abyss - Vassal Tournament

I'm rather looking forward to this - foolish really as I am probably in for a series of unmitigated butt kickings.....

nope. one group will have to run with 5 entrants but thats not too bad as its group stages are ok and will still leave 4 for the final stages.

Well good luck to everyone, may the interceptors be with you

Looking forward to get my ass kicked aswell 8)

I echo the thanks to katadder

Triggy if no one from your group is available for a game I would be up for a 'friendly' match if you like?

Thanks katadder

My stupid brother was supposed to send you his list to be the 6th person. He's so unreliable

Good luck to everyone! Anyone who wants a game feel free to PM me!

Question:

Does someone know of a good place to post the log file for general access? I'm thinking of logging each of my matchups so folks not playing can "eavesdrop" and check out the game. To do this, I'd need some location I can post the files for everyone to see -- and I don't currently have I site I can do that at. Is there some provider that could handle that?

I could probably do it with Google Documents, but I'd have to set up every person individually to have access to the shared document with the log file. If anyone has better ideas, that'd be cool.

I really want to play today, but I am so stuck at work. Argh.

I get some of this weekend off, so who wants a scenario from group 1? Only time that's off limits is Saturday from 2-5 PM Chicago (Central US) Time --- CONCACAF Gold Cup (likely U.S. v. Mexico) must needs be watched.

I might be able to get a game in with you, but I'm fighting Jayrider tomorrow morning, and beating up Timeslip in out campaign battle tomorrow afternoon. After that I have my country's 500th aniversary,my wedding to plan, my wife to murder, and Gilder to frame for it. I'm swamped.

Get some rest. If you haven't got your health, you haven't got anything.
Now where is that secret knot....?

Yes, I can quote nearly that whole movie from memory.

Excellent. I was hoping I would get the next line. As a Competitive Fencer, I can quote just about all of it too.

Just wanted to post a public thank you to all those taking and uploading log files from the tournament. This is a great resource that players at other locations can use to see how the game runs, and what games are like. This is starting to contribute to a body of tactical knowledge that I hope we can leverage in the future, espeically in an assessment of 2e! Thanks to everyone, again.
