Believer Character - Help Needed

Statues are art. Who the heck can predict what the artist chose to depict.

Mostly because I do not always predict what I choose to create...

Don’t forget that Shepherd Book in Firefly was essentially a Believer before mustering out (plus other, mysterious careers - where are they revealed?) with the intent to become a missionary.
Of course, it didn’t quite work out that way…

And sometimes it is not what the artist intended to depict but changed by an error made.

Example (and I am NOT an artist). I had a shop class in grade 8 and the teacher sprang a project on us to do a free form something on the bandsaw his example was a simple fish shape, I was doing that fish shape and slipped, the bottom ended flat instead of curved. I didn't want to start over and held it up looked at it and said "What is it now?" and turned it into a shark. I got high marks for creativity and found out years later that he copied it and put it on the wall as an example to other students. Not what I intended but what I could make after the slip.

Shepard Book was an Agent (government) prior to becoming a Believer. There are hints trough all of the expanded universe books and graphic novels.
So, does anyone have write-ups of the crew as NPC or Characters?
