My usual mathematical/balance feedback :)

a) In general, armour boost required. Minor not Major amounts.

b) Slots for the non-artillery battle dress need to be revised up. With 10 slots going to a heavy weapon, most battle suits can barely mount anything else.

c) Lots of bad-choice upgrades that need to be addressed. These are never-picked or should never-be-picked. Here is the list:
i) Enhanced Mobility & Strength - should be 1 slot at most. Slots are expensive and the bonus is minor. Any bonus less than a +3 should be scrapped.
ii) Grav assist - logically does not follow that Grav assist is that slow. Speed should not be different from grav belt.
iii) Heavy Plating - should be no slot cost. If it will remain a slotted cost need to boost up armour bonus to +5 per slot cost or higher.
iv) Integrated weapon mount - need to clarify if multiple weapons will take up extra slots. For example, are 3 rifles 15 slots or just 5 slot? if 15 - then need to rethink or scrap as this is a terrible choice. A triple mounted pistol should be smaller than a rifle. A triple mounted rifle should be smaller than a heavy weapon, and so on. This actually gives meaningful choices and not just no-brainers for "the biggest thing I can put on there"

d) Missing the static field/anti HEAP+plasma+fusion+high energy field modification. Was great in MGT1.

e) Missing point defence. Was great in MGT1.

Understandable. My perspective is that a characteristic value isn't what is important - it is the DM. Only a +3 is guaranteed to give that +1DM.
