Basic stat ideas

Can you please write up, as its the only thing I'm very bad at when it comes to Traveller, A 700 ton version of The Drinax Harriers that Weapons and Armour are a lot heavier then normal and for The Wyvern mentioned in Drinax that I imagine as being a light Frigate of around 2,700 tons, having weapons and armour that are super-heavy for its size, has a fairly good fighter bay that can be easily converted into a secondary Cargo Bay when needed and whose Thrust and Jump Capacities are higher then normal for A 2,700 ton Frigate

From page 121 of Book 1, for Gani Peras

She avoided direct engagements where
possible, preferring to use her light Harrier- and Wyvernclass
ships to attack enemy supply lines and fuel
dumps.

So the Wyvern is a light ship, not a 2700 ton frigate. And if the Harrier at 200 tons is light, let's assume the Wyvern class is as well.

Its Light Harrier and Wyvern, but I take that to mean, cos of its stats that The Harrier is light in the sense of its size despite being heavy in Weapons and Armour yet The Wyvern is very heavy in size yet light in Weapons and Armour. Kind of similiar to how in my Uber Empire what they call A Very Light Scout The Imperium would classify as Escort that's a lot heavier then heavy yet a lot lighter then very heavy

After reading the (very interesting, thanks for sharing!) old discussion on the Wyvern class, I had an idea:

How about simply using the Corsair as a template? Seems to me it’d fit quite nicely, and in one of the adventures in Pirates of Drinax (on p.143) there’s an example ship named Lionsbane.

It’s armed with a particle beam bay and barbette, a railguns bay (could be swapped for mass driver for that city-leveling ortillery strike), two defensive sand/beam turrets and a triple missile turret (probably enough space to upgrade it into a barbette if needed).

The Corsair description “Originally designed as a raider and pocket warship” sounds just like I understand the Wyvern from the discussion.

Why not just use that?
