Hi all;

Thank for take the time to read my question.

I have one basic question about runequest;

I played the old version of JOC

No i´m starting to change to the new ( 1.0 ) MRQ

So I have this stupid question, how you calculate when a character dead, for the calculation for the HP you take con and siz and see the table and put the point in each location.
but, when the character dies?
when the totally point of siz+con are equal to 0?

I ask this because my english is not so good like you can read :P

Can some one explain to me, this part of the system?

Thank to all,

Ehm, are you asking about MRQ 1? You say the new, but MRQ 1 is some years old. The newest is MRQ 2/Legend.

If you mean MRQ 2 then the answer is found on page 95 of the MRQII book. The answer is that you die when suffering a major wound and failing a resilience test - depending on where you suffered the wound, it goes faster when hit in the head, chest or abdomen for instance.

You suffer a major wound when the damage on the location reach -HP. So for instance if you have 5 HP on your arm and you get dealt damage down to -5 HP, you take a major wound.

Where are you from? Someone here might be able to explain it to you in your own language.

Thanks Dan;

1º MRQ1 , for my is new because I come from the old version, I really forgot the MRQ2 :P

2º I´m from Uruguay South America, I speak spanish but I can understand you, some times I have difficult to writhe elaborated text :(

3º Is the same system of dead, in MRQ 1? the same as you explain me before.

Thanks and regards

Yes, the same result applies for MRQ1 as MRQ2.

When Legend comes out, I would recommend that you look at that as the MRQ2 rules are a lot better than MRQ1 and Legend is a version of MRQ2.

Thanks for your reply.

But for the moment, no cash to buy new book and not paypal to buy out of Uruguay =/
I would keep playinr MRQ1 for the moment :P

Thanks again for your help =)
