Barbarian DR

Does Barbarian DR stack with armor? Presumably the d20 SRD doesn't address this since DnD didn't have DR for regular armor, but maybe it covered it due to Barbarian DR and some esoteric spell granting DR or getting DR by becoming a certain type of creature like a werewolf?

SRD info is here...

But I think I saw it somewhere in Conan where it mentioned that it stacks, but I have no books on me today so I can't help with an exact source.

as far as i understand all dr stacks. so a high level barbarian-were wolf in plate armour is nigh unhurtable.

Unless you pour flaming oil on them, or drown them, or choke them with various sorcerous/alchemical smokes & powders  Or do lots of damage by dropping heavy things from a great height.

Warhammer used by 2 hands or bardiche which is swung by other high level soldier or barbarian with Str ~20-22 should do the trick.

Or you could just use finesse attacks. Barbarian's main way of defence is dodge and that full plate mail will decrease his DEX bonus unless Dex is his dumb stat...

Thanks!

Does that mean that it works for Conan RPG? SRD Barbarians are D&D Barbarians, and the systems are wuite different in the way the class manifests.

Also, has it been decided how AP reacts to natural DR?

That's true to an extent, but it's still stacking of barbarian DR with other DR, so it would appear to stack. D20 games such as Conan RPG use the D20 SRD for rules where there is no rule or rule change in the particular D20 game.

As I recall, there is nothing to suggest an exception for natural DR, only affirmative statements that sufficient AP halves "DR" generally.

FYI, on page 153, it states that "Certain creatures have innate Damage Reduction due to their thick skin, scales or unnatural flesh. This is treated as if it were armor with regard to penetration in all respects unless specifically noted in the creature's statistics."

So it would seem that natural DR works with AP with same as armor DR.
